D.I.Y. Vertical Garden

Our version of a vertical garden lets you experiment with textures of artificial plants to create that unique look for the inside of your home.

Crafted by Ann.

Supplies

  • Wooden Box or Tray
  • Artificial Plants
  • Moss
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scissors

All supplies for this project can be found at our Bonney Lake store.

You can choose to paint the wooden box or tray before starting or leave it as is. Take some time to layout the items in the box or tray to ensure the desired look is achieved.

  1. Using the hot glue gun, adhere moss to the bottom and sides (optional) of the box or tray.
  2. Begin to build your design by using various artificial plants and decorative items.

Not everything has to fit inside the container. This is literally an out of the box type of project as you can stack items to create dimension.

Adhere a sawtooth to the back so that you can hang it on the wall or if you prefer, you can display these on a coffee or side table.

Various grapevine balls and faux moss covered rocks.

Play around with various textures and decorations for a unique look.
