Jute and Twine Wrapped Candlesticks

Use jute or twine to add texture and color to a candlestick in minutes!

Supplies

  • Candlesticks
  • Jute
  • Twine
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scissors

Before you start, if you are using a unfinished or undecorated candlestick, feel free to paint it before starting.

  1. Use the hot glue gun to adhere one end of the jute or twine to the bottom of the candlestick.
  2. Begin wrapping the jute or twine around the candlestick until the desired look has been achieved.
  3. Cut the jute or twine and use the hot glue gun to adhere the end to the candlestick.

If you do not have access to colored jute or twine, you can use an ink pad to color the jute or twine once it's adhered to the candlestick.
