Here is one of those, "why didn't I think of that earlier" project, and it's so easy!
With the bowl and candlestick, you can also use it as a votive holder, potpourri or even as a vase for small flowers.
Even though this plate is small, you could use it as a pastry stand for placing cookies, other sweet treats on and as a candle holder.
Supplies
- 1 Small Glass Plate
- 1 Small Glass Bowl (or Votive Holder)
- 2 Glass Candlesticks
- E-6000
All supplies for this project can be found at our Bonney Lake store.
E-6000 is a strong adhesive, so be sure you are in a well ventilated area before starting.
Hand wash the bowl and plate before starting so that it will be ready to use when you are finished.
- Apply E-6000 to the bottom of the small plate or small bowl.
- Adhere it to the top of the candlestick.
- Set aside to let them completely dry before using.
Even though it's an easy project, the fun is in the creativity! You are free to embellish the candlestick to give it color by using Adirondack Alcohol Ink, glitter, beads, paper, and any other crafting supplies.
You can also decorate the underside of the plate or the outside of the bowl using paint pens, vinyl, gold leaf, paper, glitter and more! Just be sure to avoid getting anything on the side of the plate where the candy or pastry will be placed or on the inside of the bowl.
