An MDF frame has a large flat surface that allows you to decorate and embellish more so than a regular frame.
You can use any paper you would like to decorate the frame, but Kellie used "Happy Birthday" by Reminisce.
- Use the foam brush to apply paint in the color of your choice to the side edges of the frame.
- Set it aside to let dry.
- Measure and cut the birthday themed paper to fit the front of the frame.
- Use Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the front of the frame.
- Set it aside to let dry.
- Cut out birthday words, such as "Happy Birthday" and glue it the desired areas of the frame.
- Apply a thin coat of Mod Podge to the entire front to seal the paper and let it dry.
- Use Stickles to embellish the paper and frame.
- Apply Mod Podge to the wooden numbers and cover them with glitter.
- Shake any excess glitter off and set them aside to let dry.
- Then, apply a thin coat of Mod Podge to seal the glitter.
- Set the numbers aside to let dry.
- Once dry, glue the numbers to the desired area of the frame.
- Leave the frame laying flat as the numbers dry.
- Once all the glue is dry, the frame is ready to display!
