Krystyn designed this paper mache dresser to resemble a card catalog look!

Supplies

  • 1 Sheet of 12" x 12" In the Attic Ornaments Paper by Kaiser Craft
  • 1 Sheet of 12" x 12" BW Scribe Books Paper by K&Company
  • Tim Holtz Distress Stain
  • Metal Label Pulls with Fasteners (Brads)
  • Piercing Tool
  • Adhesive
  • Scissors

  1. Apply the distress stain to each lid of every box.
  2. Then, apply the distress stain to the edges of the box.
  3. Set the boxes aside to let dry.
  4. Apply the distress stain to the edges of the base (that holds the boxes).
  5. Set aside to let dry.
  6. Measure and cut the BW Scribe Books paper to fit all sides of the base.
  7. Use adhesive to adhere the paper to the base.
  8. Set it aside to let dry.
  9. Measure and cut the Ornaments paper to fit all sides of each box (excluding lids).
  10. Use adhesive to adhere the paper to each box.
  11. Set them aside to let dry.
  12. Once dry, use a ruler and pencil to mark the areas to place the holes for the brads.
  13. Use the piercing tool to create the holds and fasten the label pulls with brads onto the front of the box.
  14. Repeat step 13 until all the boxes have label pulls.
  15. Place all the label pulls back into the base and it's ready to use!
