Memorial Day is just around the corner and we have a great project to share with you. This set of three painted red, white and blue blocks with stars is a great home decor piece that can be used again this summer for the Fourth of July, and then again for Labor Day decorating.
Supplies:
Americana Decor Chalky Finish Paint
Three Unfinished Wood Cubes
Three Unfinished Wood Stars
Twine
Sandpaper
Instructions:
Paint each of the cubes with either red, white or blue paint and allow to dry.
Next paint the stars with the same three colors and allow those to dry.
Sand the edges of the wood cubes to show a worn appearance.
Now sand the edges of the stars. You can also sand a bit of the front side of the stars.
Tie the stars on to a different color cube and you are finished.
