How To Win A Home Decor Lantern

Our Win It Wednesday this week is a black lantern with a vanilla scented wax tea light holder and one LED battery operated tealight.  The battery operated tealight allows you to add items to the inside of the lantern without the worry of an accidental fire. Make a Halloween Card with Help From Stampendous

Halloween cards are a great way to recognize the holiday without giving candy! Ok, who am I kidding - the card should accompany the candy, preferably chocolate.

Here is what you will need for this project.

Supplies:
Pumpkin Cat Cling Rubber Stamp CRR232
White Cardstock
Black Cardstock
Yellow Cardstock
Black Ink Pad
Colored Pencils
Black String

Directions:
Fold 4 1/4" x 11" yellow cardstock in half to form the base card.
Stamp the Pumpkin Cat on 3 1/4" x 5" white cardstock with black ink.
Allow to dry completely.
Color as desired.
Glue to 4" x 5 1/4" black cardstock.
Glue to yellow card front.
Wrap string around card a couple of times and tie in a bow.

DIY Fall Home Decor

Today's featured projects are very easy to make. You don't need any crafting experience to accomplish a beautiful fall display. The good news is that all these supplies are on sale until October 18, 2015. So hurry in to our Ben Franklin Crafts store in Bonney Lake, WA to get everything you'll need to create a beautiful fall decoration!

The first project is this fun METAL WAGON which measures 19" x 12" x 9" (SALE $59.96 - reg. $99.99). It comes undecorated, but all you have to do is place some raffia in the bottom, arrange some fall leaves in the inside edge of the wagon, then add a couple of pumpkins in the center. That's it!

Our second project is also very easy to make! This beautiful Rattan Pumpkin is made of real molded branches so if you like the natural wood look in your decor, this would be a perfect fit! Simply add a couple of berry and leaf sprays and top it off with a bow made with fall ribbon.
