Bead Project Ideas

Beads are not only just for making jewelry, but adding colors and texture to items. Below are examples of easy bead project ideas, which would make great gift ideas, especially for Mother's Day next month.

Bottle Stoppers

Rather than a plain cork, you can use Pandora style beads to create a fancy bottle stopper.

Simply unscrew the bar of a metal bottle stopper, such as the one we have here. Slide Pandora style beads, which are colorful large hole beads, onto the bar and screw it back onto the stopper to create a festive bottle stopper!

Metal Bottle Stopper is available in our Beads Dept.

Shoe Jewelry

Creating jewelry for your shoes may not sound familiar to you, but they have been seen on the catwalks of couture fashion shows.

You can make a necklace with beads and charms and wrap it twice around your shoe, or a simple one strand bracelet.

The fun thing about shoe jewelry is that you can color coordinate them to your outfits.

Turn a plain shoe into a fabulous shoe!

Purse Jewelry

Personalize your purse by hooking strands of beads and charms off of any one of the zippers or loops.

Bookmark

We carry a cool metal bookmark that is flat and hooks into your book to save your place. It works great alone but you can add a little color by dressing it up with beads.

Add caption

By simply adding a strand of beads, you create a one-of-a-kind beautiful bookmark.

Makes a perfect gift for an avid reader!
