With kids officially back in school, now is the time to catch up on treasuring the memories of summer.
Here, Pershette created a frame for a photo from a camping trip using the Take a Hike Collection by Simple Stories.
Crafted by Pershette. |
She used an MDF frame, which is a frame that has a large flat surface that allows you to decorate and embellish more so than a regular frame.

After applying Ranger's Distress Ink in Walnut Stain to the edges of the frame, Pershette covered the front with Brown Wood/Map paper. To give the frame dimension, she created a tree from corrugated paper for the tree and green cardstock for the leaves.
The camping banner and trail markers are from the Take a Hike Fundamentals Cardstock Stickers. She adhered a few more stickers onto the frame, then glued glass tiles on top of them with Glossy Accents.
Just think of how this frame originally looked. Goes to show a little creativity can go a long way and turn the ordinary into something extraordinary.
What is your favorite memory from this summer?
