Unfinished Wood Slatboard (available to purchase online- CLICK HERE)
Canary Yellow Acrylic Paint
Orange Acrylic Paint
DecoColor Acrylic Paint Pen
"You Are My Sunshine" Vinyl Words
Directions:
Paint the front of the wood slatboard with yellow paint. Allow to dry.
Mix small amount of water to orange acrylic paint to create a wash. Paint a sun in the right hand corner. Allow to dry.
Outline the sun and draw rays with paint pen.
Apply words to the board by rubbing vinyl lettering firmly with a burnishing tool or similar object. Peel back carefully. If the vinyl does not stick reburnish gently.
This is an easy project that can be finished in one afternoon.
