DIY: Spring Deco Mesh Wreath

These beautiful deco mesh wreaths are so trendy right now! And the beauty of it is that you can create it with the colors that match your decor. Add on items that reflect the current holiday or season and you really have the WOW factor. We have a great selection of colors and now we also carry the Metallic Oasis Deco Mesh. Once it's time to change seasons or decor, simply take it apart and create a new one with new colors.

Here are the basic steps to making a Deco Mesh Wreath.

Here are the supplies you'll need:

• 1 Roll of Deco Mesh (now available Metallic Oasis Deco Mesh)
• Wire Wreath Form
• Chenille Pipe Cleaners
• Artificial Flowers
• Wired Ribbon
• Scissors

This is what a wire wreath form looks like and it is what you will need for this project.

Wire Wreath Form

1. Using the scissors, cut the chenille stems in half.

2. Open the roll of mesh and starting at the beginning, gather a section to make a large pouf.

3. Starting from the outer ring, use the pipe cleaner to secure it (using a twist action) to the wire wreath form. Do not actually tie the pipe cleaner into a knot because it will be harder to untie if you need to redo or remove the mesh.

4. Now, tie another pouf onto the inner part of the wire wreath form.

You will repeat a pattern of tying the mesh poufs to the outside ring, then inner ring until it's completely covered or when you have used all the mesh (whichever comes first).

Do not worry about how the poufs look or if you have any bare spots as you go along. When you are finished, you will go back to move and fluff the mesh. Remember, you can always remove the pipe cleaners and redo any area (or the entire wreath) if the desired look has not been achieved.

5. When you are done, decorate it with flowers by sliding it through the mesh and tying it with chenille stems. Then, finish it off with ribbon that you will also secure with chenille stems. The ribbon used for this wreath is wired, making it easy to form waves and curls.
