How To Make A Sea Glass Tile Tray

We have a product in our store called Ice Resin and we think it is really amazing! Using Ice Resin on your projects will create a durable finish for years to come. And it's really easy! You just mix the two liquids that come in the kit, stir, and pour! Our creative sample makers in our Monroe store used it on this beautiful DIY Sea Glass Tray. (All supplies are available in our Bonney Lake store.)

Here's what you'll need to make this tray:
Krylon Sea Glass Spray Paint (one can in blue and one in green)
Oval Glass Tiles
Rectangle Glass Tiles
Unfinished Wood Tray
Ice Resin Kit by Susan Lenart Kazmer from Ranger
Ceramcoat Acrylic Paint (White)
Sponge Brush
Blue and Green Seed Beads

Spray the Krylon Sea Glass Paint to cover the glass tiles.

• Paint your unfinished tray with your white acrylic paint. Let dry completely.

• Using your Krylon Sea Glass spray paint,  spray both of your oval and rectangle glass tiles.  Tip - lightly spray paint and allow the color to dry in between coats.

•  Once dry, place on the tray, sprinkle the blue and green beads in between the glass tiles.

• Mix and pour your ice resin over the glass tiles and beads (see the video below on how to mix & pour the ice resin). Allow your ice resin to completely dry for 72 hours before placing any items on top of your tray.
