Make A Color Shift Painted Box

We have a new paint in our store called Color Shift by FolkArt. The paint changes tones as light hits it. We will be sampling this paint on different surfaces using different techniques to show you how to use the product.  This wood box was painted with the Green Flash color.

Supplies:
FolkArt Color shift Paint - Green, Black and Aqua Flash
One unfinished Wood Box
One Delta Creative Butterfly Stencil
Three Stencil Dobber Sponges

Instructions:
Paint the wood box and allow to dry.
Paint a second coat if your prefer a darker green. Allow to dry.
Choose the butterfly in the stencil that you will use and place on the box.
Dip the sponge into the black paint and blot on a paper towel then dab on the stencil openings.
Do not pick up the stencil.
If you did not apply much paint it will dry quickly and now you can apply the green paint with a new sponge.
Apply the aqua color with the last sponge.
Remove the stencil and allow paint to dry.
If desired, apply small strokes of aqua with a fine tip paintbrush to intensify color in spots.
