DIY Plaque with Real Wood Sheet

Molly created this cute sign with a new product from Etcetera Papers. It is a thin sheet of wood that can be die cut, painted, stamped or embossed.

Supplies:
MDF Plaque
HOME letters
Cherry Wood Sheet
Mini Wood Butterflies
Acrylic Paint
Scrapbooking Paper
3D Foam Tape
Ribbon

Instructions:
Cut out scrapbook paper to the shape of the plaque and glue to the board.
Paint the HOME letters and set aside to dry.
Paint two mini wood butterflies pink.
Cut the wood sheet to the shape of the board.
Die cut butterflies out of the wood sheet.
Attach the wood sheet to the board with 3D foam tape. This will allow it to be raised off from the board.
Glue two butterflies inside the larger butterfly cut outs.
Attach a ribbon to the back of the board and your plaque is ready to hang.
