Framed Art Ideas for Holidays

Every holiday season our team comes up with simple decorations that anyone can make, even the non crafters. Would you have thought of using Christmas paper with a couple of picture frames to create a 15-minute (or less) decoration? You can update it every season by simply replacing the themed paper.

First you would pick the paper of your choice. We invite you to stop by our Ben Franklin Crafts store in Bonney Lake, WA. We have the latest and most trendy paper collections that are available on the market. And if you're looking for a specific theme, make sure to talk with one of our knowledgeable team members.

Next you'll want to pick 2 frames. One smaller than the other. This will allow you to stack both nested inside each other. Our "2 For" picture frames are on sale right now at 30% off the regular prices (sale ends Nov. 19, 2018). So for example, if you buy two 5" x 7" frames at regular price 2 for $11, add the 30% off and you only pay $7.70 for two! View our entire sale flyer on our website.

We have a great selection of sizes to choose from.

Now that you've picked your paper and your frames, it's time to put it together! Remove the backing from both frames. Use the backing as a template. Place it on your paper, draw a line around it, cut it out using scissors or a paper cutter. Now insert your paper inside the frame. (make sure to clean the glass before you do this).

Use E6000 glue to glue the small one in the center of the bigger one. That's all there is to it!

Of course our "2-For" frames are also perfect to frame pictures. For that price, you could get all those pictures that have been lying in the drawer framed! They would make great Christmas gifts too!

All supplies shown here are available at our Ben Franklin Crafts and Frame Shop store in Bonney Lake, WA (while supplies last). If you have any questions, we invite you to call us at 253-862-6822 or stop by!
