Red, White and Blue Crafts

Make a wooden flag holder with a 3 1/2" cube, a small wood disc and a round wooden ball (found in our doll making crafts section). We painted the wood pieces white, then after they dried painted red stripes using masking tape as a guide. Next the blue sides were painted, and after they dried we painted white stars using a mini stars stencil. All pieces were glued together and a small hole was drilled in the top of the wood ball. The final step was to distress the pieces with sandpaper.

Make a wooden tealight candle holder with a unfinished wood cube that already contains a metal holder for the candle. We painted the wood white, then after it dried painted red stripes using masking tape as a guide. Next the blue sides were painted, and after they dried we painted white stars using a mini stars stencil.  The final step was to distress the piece with sandpaper.
