Decorating a Paper Suitcase

We have these cute paper suitcases like this at our Bonney Lake store and decided to decorate one with fabric.

Crafted by Pershette.

Supplies

  • Paper Suitcase
  • Fabric
  • Mod Podge
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Scissors
  • Foam Brush

All supplies for this project can be found at our Bonney Lake store.

  1. Using the foam brush, apply paint to the desired areas of the suitcase.
  2. Set aside to let dry.
  3. Trim the fabric to fit the front and back of the suitcase.
  4. When the paint is dry, apply Mod Podge to the suitcase using the foam brush.
  5. Firmly adhere the fabric to the areas where you have applied the Mod Podge.
  6. Set aside to let dry.
You can apply embellishments to the suitcase as you desire.

You can also adhere fabric to the inside case as you choose.
