Geo Mesh Pumpkin Wreath

NOTE: THE GEO MESH PRODUCT IS NOT AVAILABLE AT OUR BEN FRANKLIN STORE ANY LONGER. This tutorial is used as a learning tool only.
-------------------------

This bold and beautiful Geo Mesh Pumpkin Wreath will catch the attention of those that see it.

Crafted by Ann.

Supplies

  • 1 Roll of Geo Mesh in Orange
  • 2.5 Yards of Sparkle Green Geo Mesh
  • Black Geo Mesh
  • 16" Styrofoam Wreath Form
  • 6 Yards Orange Floral Satin
  • 1 Yard Green Ribbon
  • Floral Pins
  • Scissors

All supplies for this project can be found at our Bonney Lake store.

1.  Wrap the Styrofoam form with floral satin and pin it to secure.
2.  Cut the orange and green mesh into 12" pieces. They will look like rolls.
3.  Pin the end of a mesh piece to the wreath form. This allows the roll to stick out, creating dimensional texture.

4.  Continue until the form is covered, including the center. To fill the center, just pin the mesh pieces sideways to direct the roll of mesh.
5.  Pin the green pieces at the top for the leaves.
6.  Pin the black piece for the stem.
7.  Make a bow with the ribbon to place next to the stem.

This will be quite large when it's finished, so be sure that the place you plan on hanging it will work.
