Rustic Autumn Star

After Halloween, two things will happen: either you will decorate for Thanksgiving or for Christmas. For those decorating for Thanksgiving, here is a project you can do.

Crafted by Pershette.

If you are looking to start crafting for Christmas early, you are in luck! We will begin posting holiday projects starting the first week of November, so stay tuned!

Supplies

  • Metal (Tin) Star
  • Patterned Scrapbooking Paper
  • Mod Podge
  • Burlap Ribbon
  • Foam Brush
  • Scissors

To get started, create a template by tracing the areas of the star you want to cover with paper.

  1. Cut your paper patterns using your template. You should have 10 cut outs when finished (if you are covering all sides of the star with paper).
  2. Use Mod Podge to adhere the paper onto the star.
  3. When you are finished gluing the paper to the star, set it aside to let dry.
  4. Once dry, measure and cut the burlap ribbon to wrap around the star and tie a bow.

Now, it's ready to hang!
