Supplies
- Frame
- Artificial Flower
- Wired Ribbon
- Brooch or Rhinestone Bead
- Hot Glue Gun
- Scissors
1. Cut the flower from the stem and use the hot glue to adhere it to the desired area of the frame.
2. Measure and cut ribbon to go around the top of the frame to allow you to hang it up to display.
The frame used for this project already had a vintage finish, but you can recreate the shabby chic look by adding a crackle finish and then, sanding various areas of the frame to give it a distressed look.
Adding a rhinestone bead or brooch to the center of the flower is optional, but as you can see, it gives the frame a beautiful touch of elegance.
You could also use this to display table numbers at a wedding reception by either leaning the frame against a centerpiece or have the frame sit upright if its wide enough to stand on its own.
