Create Easy Corsage and Boutonnieres

While June is the traditional wedding month, here in Washington warm weather is just getting started and summer weddings are often delayed until mid-summer. There are many things you can do to personalize a wedding and reception, and while hand made is trendy, it is also a  great money saver. We would like to share a few ideas for easy corsages and boutonnieres.

Calla Lily Boutonniere

Directions:
Cut stem of mini calla to  approximately 1 1/2 inch.
Now cut two grass stems to to measure 4 1/2 and 5 inches.
Place grass stems on back of calla stem and wrap with floral tape.
Cut a small length of ribbon, start at base of flower and wrap down the stem.
Glue the end to the back.
Secure the boutonniere with a corsage pin.

The trendy burlap is an easy addition to any silk floral bouquet.

Wrap burlap ribbon around the floral stems and secure with pearl pins.

The ready made corsages and boutonnieres can be used as is or with embellishments you add to personalize to your liking.

Here is an example of really easy table decor. Just add a candle that coordinates to your wedding color palette, place some silk flowers on the table and add a chalkboard easel for notes or table numbers.
