DIY Fall Burlap Wreath

Welcome guests by dressing up your door with this beautiful Fall burlap wreath that was created by Pershette of our Monroe store.  We have so many styles of burlap that I'm sure you'll find exactly what you need at our Ben Franklin Crafts and Frame Shop store in Bonney Lake, WA.

Created by Pershette

Here's what you'll need...

• Wire Wreath Form
• Burlap
• Black Tulle
• Orange Ribbon
• Scissors

The amount of fabric for this project depends on the size of the wire wreath form and the desired look of the wreath.

Let's get started...

1.  With the scissors, cut 13" strips of burlap. The width is really up to you. Ours are about 1.5" to 2" wide. Tie the strips into a single knot onto the wreath, starting from the inner circle. Continuing tying on strips of burlap until all circles are covered.

3.  Cut the tulle into 15" strips. Tie the tulle in a single knot onto the outer circles of the wreath.

4.  Cut the ribbon into 8" strips. Tie the ribbon into a single knot in various areas to give a touch of color to the wreath.

8.  Add a bow (watch this video on how to make a bow) on top of your wreath and finish with an embellishment of your choice.
