Dove Craft Projects for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
- Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King dreamed of a peaceful nation and died trying to make the world a place where everyone was treated as equals. We honor him today with a national holiday.

The dove is a symbol of peace.
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day we are sharing this video of how to make an origami dove.
Video brought to you from Activity Village, a site providing parents, teachers and grandparents activities and art for children.

Here is an easy project for a dove garland using coffee filters by Valerie, of Inner Child Fun.
