- One Square of Seahawks Fabric
Small Dog- cut One 12” square of green and one 12" square of Seahawk fabrics
Medium Dog- cut One 20” square of green and one 20" square of Seahawk fabrics
Large Dog- cut One 24” square of green and One 24" square of Seahawk fabrics
Directions:
Medium Dog- cut One 20” square of green and one 20" square of Seahawk fabrics
Large Dog- cut One 24” square of green and One 24" square of Seahawk fabrics
This pattern will make 2 scarves.
- Place the Seahawk square face down on top of the green square. Fold in half to make a triangle. Cut on the diagonal fold- You will have 2 triangular sets of fabric.
- Stitch around the 3 sides of the triangle (we used 1/4” seams) leaving an opening to turn the fabric inside out.
- Turn so the Seahawk fabric is facing out. Iron.
- Topstitch all the way around the triangle, making sure the raw edged opening where you turned the scarf inside out is tucked in to make the seam.
- Fold down the diagonal side of the scarf to fit your dog collar. The Seahawk fabric should be the main side, with the green showing when folded over. I stitched it an extra 1/2“ wide to make sure there was enough room to slide the collar on and off.
