DIY Deer Head Art Wall Decor

Deer heads and hunting themed decor is very trendy and we are loving the options for creative options that are available. Christy made a rustic wall decoration for a store sample.

Supplies:
One unfinished Wood Pallet Plaque
Unfinished Deer Heads and Heart Shape
Metal Faucet Hangers
Americana Decor Oak Gel Stain
Moss FolkArt Painted Finishes

Instructions:
Brush the gel stain on the pallet board and the deer head piece.
Now wipe off the pieces with a soft cloth and allow to dry.
Apply dark moss finish to the crevices of the board, and the deer head piece in a random pattern using a damp chip brush. Now apply to the metal faucet hangers, too.
While wet, apply the light  moss color in random areas, allowing it to mix with the dark green moss.
Allow to dry 4 hours.
