Create A Stenciled Picture Frame for the Holidays

This holiday stencil frame project is easy - there are only a couple of steps.

Paint an unfinished wood frame with gel stain.

Just brush the gel stain on, then wipe off any excess and allow the frame to dry.

Choose a festive stencil.

Peel the backing off from the self-adhesive stencil. Place the stencil on the frame where you want the image and press it down. Dab the red stain over the stencil and wipe off any extra.

Peel the stencil up and move it around the frame until your design is complete.  Place the backing on the stencil and put away for a future project.
