Whenever you hear someone say the word "canvas," do you immediately think of painting?
Canvases have moved beyond the world of painting and into the crafting world. Here are examples of how you can use a canvas.
Add decorative paper, photos, and vinyl to create wall art. |
Use canvases to display photos. |
Mini canvases can be used as embellishments. |
Add embellishments and vinyl words to a painted canvas. |
Instead of painting the canvas, cover it with decorative paper. |
Attach multiple canvases together. |
Cover the canvas in fabric and ribbon to create a memory board. |
Speaking of canvas, our Bonney Lake store is going to have an incredible sale on canvases starting January 28, 2012 through February 25, 2012. The sale will coincide with our Canvas Make and Take event, which will take place every Saturday in February.
Be sure to check your email for our e-newsletter with information about the make and take event. If you're not signed up to receive our e-newsletter, you can sign up
here.
Hope to see you there!
I love the ideas! I am a painter and to go beyond painting with a canvas is still art! thanks.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how you can turn an item into art that you normally use for another art form? We are glad you love the ideas.
