Add a little warmth to your holiday decor with this glowing snowman!

Crafted by Christy.

Supplies

  • 1 Small Clear Glass Bowl
  • Adirondack Alcohol Ink Mixatives in Pearl
  • Adirondack Alcohol Ink in Yellow Sunset Orange
  • Viva Pearl Pens
  • Felt
  • Twine
  • Foam Applicator
  • Adhesive
  • Scissors

1.  Clean the outside of the bowl to wipe away any residue or dust.
2.  Using the foam applicator, apply the Mixatives to the entire outside of the bowl until the desired look has been achieved.
3.  Set aside to let dry.
4.  Measure and cut felt to make the hat for the snowman.
5.  Stuff the hat with material to make it stand up.
6.  Turn the bowl upside down so that the opening is facing down.
7.  Glue the hat onto the bottom of the bowl (flat non-opened surface).
8.  Using the pearl pens to create the face of the snowman and set it aside to let dry.
9.  Measure and cut about 12" of twine for the nose.
10.  Dye it orange using alcohol ink and then let it dry.
11.  Take twine and wrap it into a cone shape.
12.  Once the desired size and shape has been achieved, cut off the excess and apply glue to the end to secure it.
13.  Glue it to the bowl to complete the snowman's face.

You may need to set the bowl on it's side to allow the nose to dry in place.

14.  Let the snowman dry completely before displaying.
15.  Add tealights by placing them under the bowl and turn them on to give your snowman a glow!
