Elegant Shell Necklace and Earrings Tutorial

Supplies

• 1 Strand of Shells
• 1 Strand of Large Hole Pearls
• 1 Strand of Crystals
• 19 Strand Bead Wire
• Fine Chain
• Clasp
• Crimp Beads
• 4 Jump Rings
• Bead Caps
• Earring Headpins
• Ear Wires
• Wire Cutters
• Round Nose Pliers

Pendant and Earrings

Place a crystal, bead cap, shell, bead cap and a pearl (in that order) on a headpin. Add another bead cap. Curl the top of the headpin down to make a pendant. Repeat to make matching earrings and attach them to ear wires.

Necklace

On one yard of wire, place clasp on one end and secure with crimp bead. String the rest of the pearls, a bead cap, shell and bead cap.

String a crystal, then another shell with the bead caps surrounding it. Continue three more times and then go through the top loop of the pendant and use a crimp bead to tie off end. Place the other end of the clasp on a jump ring and add three lengths of fine chain, approximately 18" each. Bring the first chain around and secure it between the fourth and fifth bead with a jump ring, adjusting the length to suit you. Secure the second chain between the third and fourth bead and the last between the second and third bead. Adjust it to the desired length and cut off any excess chain.
