Supplies
- Frame
- Washi Tape
- Mod Podge
- Scissors
- Foam Brush
You can use any frame of your choice, but for this project, we used an MDF Frame because of the vast surface we can cover with washi tape for a colorful look.
Where you begin adhering the washi tape onto the frame will depend on how you want the design (starting at the top, diagonally, etc.).
If you are covering a regular frame (not MDF), be sure to remove the back cover and glass from the frame.
1. Cover the entire frame in washi tape in the desired pattern, wrapping the ends around to the back of the frame for a clean look or making sure that if you stop right at the edge, that the ends are cut straight.
2. Use the foam brush to apply a thin coat of Mod Podge over the top of the washi tape.
3. Set it aside to let dry.
Once dry, it's ready to display!
