Mummy Face Mask

If you saw the Ghost Face Mask post, you know about the paper mache masks we received.

Today, we are going to show you how to decorate the Mummy Face Mask

Remember, this is just an idea on how to decorate the Mummy Face Mask as you can design it however you like.

Supplies

  • Paper Mache Mummy Face Mask
  • Cheese Cloth
  • Moss
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Glitter Mod Podge
  • Scissors
  • Paint Brush
  • Foam Brush

  1. Using the foam brush, apply paint in the color of your choice to the entire mask.
  2. Set it aside to let dry.
  3. Use a dry paint brush (or use your finger) to brush (or rub) on contrasting color onto the bandage patterns on the mask.
  4. Set it aside to let dry.
  5. Measure and cut strips of cheese cloth.
  6. Apply the Glitter Mod Podge to the mask and adhere the strips of cheese cloth in the direction of the bandages.
  7. Use adhesive to adhere the moss onto the desired areas of the mask.

The moss and cheese cloth add texture and dimension.

Feel free to add any other embellishments to the mask.

Once it's completely dry, it's ready to display!

Creative Tip! Place battery operated lights behind the mask for illumination.
