Look! There's a Witch Stuck in the Ceiling!

Have you ever seen witch legs at a store and wondered how you could decorate with them?

Some witch legs even have dowels attached so that you can insert them upside down into a huge plant pot or urn.

Crafted by Ann.

But, what can you do to liven up ones like these? Dress it up with a tulle skirt! The fullness of the skirt creates a realistic illusion of a witch stuck in the ceiling that will have people doing a double take.

Before and After.

Supplies

  • Witch Legs
  • Tulle
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Twine

1.  Cut strips of tulle 6" wide and 24" to 30" in length.
2.  Cut strips of ribbon 24" to 30" in length.

The varying lengths of material will add depth to the skirt.

3.  Center align the strips of tulle and ribbon, then tie the middle with twine (or string, wire, etc.) and attach it to the top of the pair of legs.

If the legs are not attached (like the ones we are using), then tie them together and attach the skirt.

After securing the skirt onto the pair of legs, fluff it out and it's ready to hang!
