DIY Winter Felt Tree

Christy made this Winter felt tree using thick felt and our die cut center. This is an easy afternoon project that looks great in any room of the house.

Supplies:

One Paper Mache Cone
White Wool Felt
Red Wool Felt
E6000 Fabri-fuse

Directions:

Wrap the cone with white felt and glue in place with Fabri-fuse. Allow to dry.
Use a die cut machine to cut out your chosen shapes from the red felt. (You could also use other colors to change up the appearance).
Glue the shapes in place and allow to dry.

Santa Portraits at Ben Franklin

Introducing our second annual Santa and me portraits at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frame Shop in Bonney Lake. This was such a fun event for us and we are excited to offer two photo session dates this year: Saturday December 6th and Saturday December 13, 2014 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Appointments are not required, however, we do understand that there are occasions when a scheduled photo session may be required. If you have a special request feel free to contact us. Call Christy at 253-862-6822 and we may be able to meet your needs.

• Package A: $22.99 includes one 5" x 7" print.
• Package B: $29.99 includes one 8" x 10", two 5" x 7" and four 4" x 6" prints.

Create Your Own Winter Scene in Glass

Winter scenes are so easy and fun to make! Once you start, you could end up creating an entire village. Why not! You could add these to your Christmas village and add lights to create a little winter wonderland.

Start by choosing your container, which could be a vase, apothecary jar, bowl, mason jar, or a glass (like shown below - very cute by the way). Place your artificial snow in the bottom and then start adding your little treasures. We have a great selection to choose from, so come in and we'll help you pick the pieces for your winter scene.

Silent Auction Quilt For Bonney Lake Food Bank

You are invited to participate in a silent auction to raise money for the Bonney Lake Food Bank. The holiday season is a great time to share what you can, and this is a fun way to raise much needed cash to help families in need. Every family deserves a special holiday meal.

The quilt is the Mineral Forest fabric collection by Andover, and measures 78"x70". It will be on display in our fabric department through mid-December. A special thanks to Todd, one of our quilt display designers, for donating this lovely quilt for a great cause. The materials and hours of work involved in creating it, and the price of the quilting process make this a retail value of $300.00. We can not thank him enough for his generosity. This auction item will have a minimum bid of $150.00.

Your bid may win this gorgeous quilt, but the real winner is our community and the Bonney Lake Food Bank!

Advice From A Dog Framed Art

Supplies:

Lifestyle Collection Shadowbox Frame
Advice From A Dog Card
Raining Cats & Dogs Scrapbook Paper by Graphic 45
One Black Cardstock Sheet
Three or Four Dog Biscuits

Directions:

Glue the advice from a dog card to black cardstock and allow to dry.
Trim black cardstock to create a 1/2 inch border around the entire card.
Cut down the Raining cats and dog paper to fit the shadowbox frame.
Glue the card to the Graphic 45 paper.
Glue the dog biscuits on the paper and allow to dry completely.
Place the art in the frame and secure back to the shadowbox.

Hang your new art on a wall, or use an easel to showcase this on a shelf or tabletop.

You can create this button bracelet in less than one hour!

Supplies:

Silver Textured Disks Chain
Assorted Buttons
Clasp
E6000

Directions:

Use wire cutter to cut silver disc chain to the desired length for a bracelet. (aprox. 7-8 inches)
Attach a clasp with needle nose plyers.
Now use E6000 to attach buttons to each silver disc on the chain.
Allow to dry - your bracelet is finished.

DIY: Space Needle 12th Man Shadow Box

Looking for an easy craft that will help you show your love for the Seattle Seahawks? This project is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Open the shadow box.
2. Adhere the Washington Map Paper Sheet to the back.
3. Peel and stick the vinyl #12 and Space Needle to the front of the glass!
You're done!
