D.I.Y. Fabric Strips Wreath

Making a wreath from fabric strips is a simple project and it can be used to complement your home decor or celebrate a season of the year.

Crafted by Milly.

Supplies

  • Various Fabrics
  • Wire Wreath Form
  • Pinking Shears

All supplies for this project can be found at our Bonney Lake store.

The amount of fabric for this project depends on the size of the wire wreath form and the desired look of the wreath.

Wire Wreath Form

Milly selected to use Moda Etchings and Etchings Woven by 3 Sisters for this project, however, you can choose to use any fabric designs of your choice.

1.  With the pinking shears, cut 5" x 1.5" strips of fabric from the Etchings collection.
2.  Tie strips into a single knot onto the wreath, starting from the inner circle.
3.  Continuing tying on strips of fabric until all circles are covered.

4.  Cut long strips of the Etchings fabric to make a bow to tie onto the top of the wreath (outer circle).
