Button Wreath Wall Art

This bright and festive Button Wreath Wall Art is perfect for adding a little color to your home.

Crafted by Joy.

Supplies

  • Canvas
  • Buttons
  • Printed Scrapbooking Paper
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Ribbon
  • 527 Multi-Purpose Glue
  • Foam Brush

Be sure to color coordinate your materials when selecting the buttons, paint, ribbon, and paper for this project.

1.  Using the foam brush, paint the canvas with an acrylic paint in the color of your choice.
2.  Set aside and let dry.
3.  Trim the paper by cutting it into a square to fit the size of the canvas.
4.  Then, cut out a square from the paper to create a border.

Use the paper to create a border to frame the buttons.

5.  Once the paint on the canvas is dry, glue the paper to it.
6.  Begin gluing the buttons onto the canvas.

If you need a guide to lay the buttons down, use a pencil to lightly sketch a circle.

Overlap buttons here and there for dimension.

7.  Use ribbon to make a bow and glue it to the top part of the button wreath.
