Washi Tape Letter

Washi tape isn't just for scrapbooking! It's fun to use for decorating, such as this letter for your child's room!

Crafted by Billie Jo.

Supplies

  • Wooden or Paper Mache Letter
  • Washi Tape
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Scissors
  • Foam Brush

1.  Using a foam brush, paint the entire letter in white and set it aside to let dry.

The white will allow the color of the washi tape to pop, rather than the original color of the letter, since the tape itself is semi-transparent.

2.  Cut strips of washi tape to adhere to selected areas of the letter, whether it be just the front, the sides or the entire letter.

3.  When done, feel free to add any embellishments you desire.

Now, it's ready to display!
