Steampunk Spells Framed Art

One of our staff members, Jeannette, was thrilled when she saw Steampunk Spells by Graphic 45. Not only is she a huge fan of Graphic 45, she absolutely loves steampunk, so this paper collection was like a dream come true.

Crafted by Jeannette.

Jeannette knew she had to create something with this collection, as she always does anytime Graphic 45 releases a new line. She started by painting a canvas in the color of the turquoise from the "Steampunk Spells." She took the paper and mounted it onto a foam board.

The papered foam board was inserted into a barnwood frame. Jeannette then cut out specific images from "Steampunk Spells" and used 3-D Dots to create dimension. She added embellishments to accentuate particular images on the paper, such as adding feathers to the wings, a heart locket charm to the raven and metal gears around the border.

We like how she used glass tiles to feature the portraits on each stamp. After Jeannette adorned the paper with embellishments, she then accented fine details with Stickles. Steampunk Flourish Borders by Jolee's Boutique were adhered around the barnwood frame.

Jeannette cut out images from "Vintage Voyage" and "Nevermore" to adhere onto small canvas boards that were painted in the same turquoise color as the main canvas.

She attached the barnwood frame to the canvas, then adhered the small canvas boards below the frame, with one attached by ribbon for movement.

It's incredible how Jeannette's creativity can produce such amazing works of art.

If you love Steampunk Spells, then you'll enjoy our previous post on the Steampunk Spells Arrow that our Office Manager, Sara, designed that can be viewed here.
